Our St Roch shotgun treasure was built around 1896. It has original cypress floors, plaster, and mouldings. It is located on a quiet block just a couple blocks north of St. Claude and a few blocks from the famous St. Roch Market. Robert's Grocery is close by as are several restaurants that specialize in Creole, Vietnamese, French, Italian, and American food.
Rental Terms
- This is a second home for ua and not a long term rental. We rent our place from 30 days to 6 months maximum.
- $500 refundable deposit required. Rent is $1600/month and includes all utilities and internet.
- Check in after 3 pm; check out by 11 am.
- Guest will be provided with keycode.
- $150 cleaning fee.

We love New Orleans for several reasons. Its history is fascinating and the vibe of the city feels Caribbean. St, Roch is a historic neighborhood with plenty to offer residents and visitors. The area is vibrant, artsy, funky, and close to the Marigny, French Quarter, the Byawater, and Frenchmen Street.
House Rules
This is not a traditional rental. It is our second home as I spend a lot of time in NOLA in the archives and enjoying the culture. We rent it when we plan not to be there. Treat it as your own. It is an old property that needs TLC and understanding even though it has been renovated
Take out trash and recyclables on Thursdays. Upon departure, make sure all trash is deposited in bins.
Clean out refrigerator when you leave. No food should be in fridge except condiments.
Strip bedding and leave on floor in front of washer.
Be mindful of longterm tenant on other side. Walls are not insulated.
Lock doors when not in home.
100+ year old cypress floors have been refinished. Treat them carefully. Do not scratch them.
